It was learned that the deceased, identified as Mr. Jemudia, his wife and daughters were found dead in early hours of Saturday by their neighbours after they noticed that fumes were coming out of their three-bedroom flat apartment. The suspects, according to the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Hafiz Inuwa, were arrested on October 22, 2007, by operatives of the command. According to reports trending in the social media, men suspected to be security officials of the University of Nigeria have allegedly bundled students of the school from their hostels, leaving them stranded. Mr Emmanuel Ezeugwu, a finalist in Public Administration of the Institute Of Management and Technology, IMT, Enugu is in police custody for having stabbed a commercial sex worker to death. Enugu State Police Command, revealed that Ezeugwu was arrested while he was trying to flee to Lagos after  stabbing the woman at his home. Ezeugwu who is said to be living off camp at No 16 Onuato Ogui Enugu and as well as a native of Ezimo in Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu state, revealed that his being drunk that night led to his devlish act. The Head of Department Voter Education and Publicity, Mr. Leo Nkedife, disclosed this on Tuesday in Awka, Anambra State. He said the exercise was in compliance with Section 34 of the Electoral Act 2010 which provides for the publication of the voters’ register for a period not less than 30 days before election day.
